What will you do?

While working directly with customers in our fast-paced environment, you’ll conduct investigations, resolve claims and negotiate settlements. Doing your job accurately is critical to the success of Assurant. You’ll also be responsible for ongoing communication, as well as providing status updates to the insured and others associated with the claim.

Your Background:

We’re looking for individuals interested in learning our business, growing their expertise and becoming future leaders. You must be an experienced claims adjuster who can empathize with our customers and relate to their experiences. Some experience mentoring others will help.

As a young mother, I watched as Hurricane Andrew destroyed our home. That experience helped me understand what our customers are going through. It's something I bring to my job every day.

We help homeowners in their time of need, often times in catastrophic situations. I've had the privilege to be deployed after a barrier island was completely destroyed. We identified a number of customers who hadn't reported claims yet and I drove out to the island to find them. To be able to say, "We're here. We've got your coverage." - it has to be one of the most rewarding experiences in my career.
