Associate Security Administrator

The associate security administrator position will provide technical support and serve as a liaison for activities related to security, compliance, audits and reporting with assistance and direction from the management team.  The role will support technical security/compliance related customer requests and execute and maintain procedures to support related projects as directed. This role will also coordinate administrative processes, prioritize, direct, and respond to business matters.  Creates & maintains associated documents, spreadsheets, databases, meetings, special events, etc.  Alerts management of critical issues & upcoming events. Interactions may be US and International.  Should have ability to manage projects.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • This role will be responsible for maintaining and executing Security Awareness training program for the entire employee population, including being relationship manager with 3rd party training vendor. 
  • Will work with IT Finance, Procurement and security leadership to keep track of all information security contracts and reconciliation of those against incoming invoices. 
  • Will be required to assist direct supervisor and leadership team with the development of effective presentations and managing content across our Information Security SharePoint sites. 
  • Will be responsible for working at the direction of the leadership team to creating basic content for articles to be posted on our company intranet site.
  • Will be considered an apprentice and be afforded benefits gained through our ongoing departmental job shadowing and job mentoring program. For progression, will be able to move laterally into security or compliance analyst roles.
  • Organize and keep current all presentations and content that can be reused by creating a library of formatted information to leverage when drafting presentations across security disciplines.
  • Coordinates employee engagement activities for the department via Zoom and in person as applicable.
  • Will create meeting agendas, background materials and take minutes, including scheduling and facilitating Zoom meetings and Zoom breakout rooms.
  • Independently responds to & composes correspondence.
  • Creates & maintains standard spreadsheets &/or databases.
  • Prepares queries, reports, statistics, tables, charts, etc. based on information compiled from various sources.
  • Primary support for SVP and/or multiple other leaders at least at the VP level.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of communications, accounting or information technology fields, or enrollment in an accredited college with intent to obtain a degree within 12-18 months.
  • Experience through an internship or by working professionally in any related organization or industry.
  • Expertise in Microsoft suite of tools including PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel and Word and Outlook.
  • Expertise in using SharePoint to manage content and documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to efficiently explain any research or findings and making clear recommendations based on those findings.
  • Ability to use various tools and techniques for research and analysis.
  • Being a team player who can follow and implement instructions and learning on the job itself.
  • Innovative and creative critical thinking skills.
  • Conceptual understanding of IT, Security or Compliance.

What are the working conditions and physical requirement of this job?

We are working mostly virtually but the role will require occasional onsite work at our Miami or Atlanta office.

How much should I expect to travel?

Up to 5%
