The Opportunity:

An Automotive claim handler is one of the important points of contact for our internal staff and our Automotive clients/customers/dealers..

An Automotive Technical Claim Handler provides full internal support on all Automotive claims and feedback to our European team in the Amsterdam Office. Also responsible for the audits on the European claims and assessing daily technical claims, policy administrating but does include call taking, data upload and claims assessing of moderate complexity in line with our standards

You Will:

  • Assess technical automotive claims for our European Automotive clients
  • Assess audit on the automotive claims for our European Automotive client
  • Maintain contact with Automotive dealers concerning questions around the claims. Answer telephone calls - providing services to the automotive clients/dealers/customers.
  • Train internal staff with basic technical Automotive knowledge
  • Involved in all European countries teams we serve with knowledge around Automotive technical claims
  • Support actions concerning introduction of new programs. Process all administration regarding our clients and claim handling.
  • Undertake a variety of tasks ranging from call taking, policy administration and claims assessing

Key Skills:

  • English C2; Fluent - Verbal and in Writing
  • Mother language; Preferably 1 of the following languages: Italian, Spanish, Dutch
  • Previous experience with technical claims handling and dealing with complaints
  • Have worked in insurance or automotive industry within a customer-focused environment
  • Conduct claims reviews on high value claims
  • Analytical and practical skills; apply theoretical or practical knowledge to new situations and problems.
