Job Purpose:
The Internal Order Specialist oversees and executes Sales Orders, processes, and fulfillment logistics to ensure company, client, and team goals are met. This role is responsible for placing Orders, communicating internally and cross-functionally to track Order progress, recommending process updates to maximize efficiency and accuracy, and completing all tasks related to client and internal Orders. This role may also be tasked with projects and/or process improvement initiatives that elevate the client/customer and employee experience in day-to-day execution (example: documentation, automating workflows, training).
Primary Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Manage Keeper (client retained inventory) process – complete Orders, work with both internal and external partners to facilitate processes, calculate forecasts, manage SKU allocation, create and send tailored documentation and communication according to client specific requirements. (25%)
- Establish and maintain structured and organized process and records for client priorities, needs, Orders, status, internal performance, etc. Provide updates and feedback to teams as needed. (15%)
- Serve as POC and escalation owner for client account teams and Operations. Communicate with POCs for clients, internal teams, and customers regarding individual Orders and broader needs or initiatives (ex: SIM Unlocking). (10%)
- Work collaboratively with DCC operations, Finance, sales, account teams, and other cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met and opportunities to simplify, automate, and enhance the process/client experience are identified and executed. (10%)
- Investigate and troubleshoot system issues and client questions related to Orders. (10%)
- Cross train on other AVR roles to serve as a resource for additional tasks as needed. (10%)
- Complete Purchase Order transactions for internal inbound inventory. (5%) Act as subject matter expert for AVR on the systems, processes, and opportunities related to client transactions. (10%)
- Support strategic initiatives by assisting the Director of AVR Pricing and Sales Analytics on projects and participating in strategic planning. (5%)
Qualifications Required - Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- 1+ years’ experience organizing information into concise, comprehensive summaries (words and visuals) using Microsoft Word, PPT, and Excel.
- 2+ years’ experience working with Excel, including ability to manipulate (pivot tables, basic math functions) and consolidate (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, COUNTIFS) data.
- 2+ years’ experience in sales support or customer service role.
