What's the role about?   à take this from the PD 

We are looking to appoint a Channel Optimisation Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with our key retail partner.

This will involve creating and implementing sales strategies & plans that are tailored to the needs of the retailer, Design, Develop & Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions (both virtual and in-person) You'll also collaborate and work closely with our customer support team, Marketing, L&D, Product development and other relevant stakeholders.

You will be responsible for maintaining your own portfolio of accounts, so you need to be very organised, tech savvy, great at managing and developing relationships at all stakeholder levels, running promotions to drive sales, identifying and delivering growth opportunities & the day-to-day management of the account.

  • Work alongside the Channel Optimisation Lead to liaise with clients in your portfolio to create client plans & manage the successful implementation of the plan.

  • Ability to Work Autonomously as a self-starter who can take ownership while working within a larger team.

  • Flexibility & Willingness to Travel, must be able to travel regionally with the occasional interstate trip to attend industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings.

  • Design and develop sales training materials with the ability to deliver engaging and interactive training sessions (both virtual and in-person)

  • Create Sales Promotions to effectively drive sales and in Store engagement.

  • Understanding and Analysing sales data reports to help identify opportunities for growth within your portfolio.

  • Create your own brand to drive a positive culture in store

  • Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long term partnerships at all stakeholder levels.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to best service your portfolio of accounts.

  • Work closely with our customer support team, Marketing, L&D, Product development and other internal stakeholders to ensure KPI’s are achieved.

Does this sound like you ?

  • Excellent Client relationship management skills

  • Excellent customer service provided through good knowledge of product range, supporting systems and the business sectors that we work in

  • A proven ability to build strong relationships with management & key internal stakeholders

  • Successful track record of delivering customer change initiatives

  • Knowledge of insurance sales processes, to be able to adapt processes effectively where appropriate to meet customer needs

  • A broad, up to date knowledge of developments within the insurance and financial sectors and the markets in which our partners operate

  • Ability to identify opportunities to develop and grow the Account

  • Familiar with the relevant departmental and companywide procedures, policies and guidelines

  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work as a team member

  • Skilled in Influencing and negotiation

  • Effective communications and networking skills 

  • Strong Presentation Skills

  • Business Consultancy skills

  • A self-starter that is able to work with minimum supervision
