Client Marketing Coordinator

The Client Marketing Coordinator is part of a specialized team focused on creating consumer-facing marketing campaigns and associate-facing sales tools, and supporting customer communication development for Assurant’s Connected Living clients. The CMC provides cross-client and cross-product support to a team of Client Marketing Managers to ensure that marketing plans are efficiently executed and successful. This role will be based out of the Miami office.

  • Assist the line of business marketing team with their day-to-day marketing tasks

  • Support the development of marketing collateral for a variety of channels, including: brochures, store signage, digital ads, training materials, presentations, sales tools and job aids

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of departmental standard operating procedures

  • Plan and organize team meetings

  • Organize marketing processes and maintain inventory of supporting materials

  • Maintain regular communications with key contacts where project status, outstanding items, upcoming items and marketing strategies are discussed

  • Assist with development of consistent, clear and compliant content and messaging across every consumer-facing touch point from pre-enrollment through cancellation

  • Work with internal resources from cross-functional teams to execute marketing initiatives

  • Submit creative requests by providing a creative brief and timeline through the Robohead tool

  • Submit marketing collateral, training materials, websites and other consumer-facing assets through legal and compliance review process

  • Apply legal and compliance feedback to materials accurately

  • Provide support to senior marketing roles

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Liberal Arts, or English

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience with proven success

  • Highly organized

  • Excellent command of English language

  • Excellent writing and editing skills; can make text short and friendly without sacrificing grammar and quality

  • Able to take technical terms and facts and turn them into creative, compelling content

  • Able to learn quickly

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated

  • Impeccable attention to detail

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

  • Able to work under pressure

  • Able to work within tight timelines

  • Experience supporting senior marketing professionals and clients/partners

  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrix organizations

  • Comfortable working independently as well as in a team setting

  • Curiosity and desire to learn

  • A passion for technology and marketing

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Experience executing marketing and/or communication plans

  • Ability to document processes with descriptive language

  • Good analytical skills and ability to make decisions that facilitate the execution of marketing initiatives

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently

  • Able to work effectively in situations driven by deadlines or which require flexibility to approach and execution

  • Good skills providing creative and artistic direction

Preferred Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in insurance and/or financial service

  • Bi-lingual Spanish/English a plus

  • Experience in multiple marketing channels including digital

  • Experience with UX and usability

  • Basic brand management skills
