This role is responsible for oversight and optimisation of commercial performance in Australia. Helping the business to achieve key top and bottom line objectives, with a focus on the commercial performance of our products which are sold through major channel partnerships 

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Support the Account Management and Business Development teams to develop and deliver a clear strategy for growing revenue & profitability 

  • Manage product and proposition performance across all sale channels  

  • Manage commercial partnership with key resale channels, including establishment and ongoing management of commercial terms, including profit share programs in partnership with the Finance and Account Management teams as required.

  •  Analyse and understand sales results and outcomes from different products and channels, and provide to the relevant Account Management and Business Development team to support  to constantly and drive continued performance improvement  

  • Evaluate and report on product performance, working closely with BI team 

  • Work with key stakeholders to continuously review and implement sales strategy by channel and facilitate expansion to new channels 

  • Perform regular competitor analysis to determine benchmark pricing and anticipate market moving events 

  • Develop and maintain reporting (ongoing and ad hoc) across all business functions including sales, operations, finance.

Does this sound like you?

  • Finance, Commerce or similar Degree 

  • Minimum 5 years+ in a similar role 

  • Outstanding commercial acumen and agility 

  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles  

  • Deep experience in commercial management of products and propositions, including pricing and channel optimisation (Retail & Online) 

  • Team leader with strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a fast moving organisation driving rapid growth 

  • Extremely strong Microsoft excel and access modelling/calculation skills with a focus on data accuracy and an ability to creatively problem solve 

  • Flexible mindset and ability to successfully prioritize important tasks and solve problems 

  • Autonomous and adaptable to an ever changing business environment 

  • Very well planned, able to work to firm deadlines and results driven
