Digital Experience Product Manager

Join our expanding team! As the Digital Experience Product Manager, you will be a critical member of the Global Housing Digital Experience Product group. You will manage the lifecycle of the Global Housing Digital Product platform, which enhances the value of Assurant’s Global Housing products. As the Digital Experience Manager of Self-Service Digital platforms, you will oversee the lifecycle and transformation of digital platforms, supporting lending portals.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?  

  • Contribute to and maintain the master product roadmap for our Digital platforms, synthesizing information from the overall Global Housing Business Strategy.

  • On an ongoing basis, explore and research technologies, products, and partners that have the potential to enrich Digital assets and our Global Housing digital offering. Share knowledge with Operations and Technology partners in the organization to develop cross-product features and services that enhance the overall Global Housing portfolio.

  • Supports internal business lines with ongoing support and assists with escalated client issues.

  • Acts as primary contact to third-party technology providers for ongoing product support and maintenance of the digital platforms.

  • Leader of the Agile development team(s) understanding our client onboarding and digital products and representing the SAFe Program Increment (PI) process.

  • Oversee the sprint cycle with the Scrum Team and lead all relevant sprint ceremonies (Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Deployment).

  • Create and prioritize epic and feature requirements in the Azure DevOps (ADO) system based on the agreed-upon roadmap. Create PBIs with scrum team to present small slices of work to the development team, answer their questions, and provide additional data as needed to ensure successful development.

  • Understand digital experience product design and drive the cohesive implementation and integration of products and technologies that will include a wide variety of features, including, but not limited to, secure authentication and SSO, OCR/Imaging, eConsent, Paperless, Mobile Deposit Capture, and Digital Communication to include SMS, Email, Virtual Assistants, and Chat.

  • Team with Product Account Executives, Marketing, Clients, and Operations to develop and maintain collateral, product development materials, and other Digital Experience Product support materials. 

  • Conduct digital product readouts, including metrics to operations, clients, product leadership, and relevant parties.

  • The Digital Experience Product Manager will assist and lead one or more Agile development teams along with the Scrum Master.

What are the requirements for this position?  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience developing and maintaining a portal/digital product.

  • Proficiency with Agile development methodologies – Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is highly desired.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?  

  • Understanding of software development application life cycle

  • Understanding of a high-level concept system integration with internal/external systems via API, Database Query, SDK.

  • Understanding of high-level frontend development (HTML and CSS Design)

  • Has experience/knowledge in best practices for HTML design (in terms of user experience) and application deployment into Cloud (Azure).

  • Prior experience in Financial Services.

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand digital technology and connect it to business needs and opportunities.

  • Ability to prepare, present, and defend an oral or written argument supporting a strategy or business case.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and effectively keep management and stakeholders informed of progress and issues.

  • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn and develop a passion for the assigned business and product area.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills – the ability to influence others who do not directly report to you, negotiate outcomes, and work with a large, diverse, global group of stakeholders from many business areas.

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills are essential.

  • Proficiency in the use of digital asynchronous communications tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and email

How much should I expect to travel?  

  • Up to 10% domestic travel to be expected annually.


Pay Range

$84,100.00 - $140,500.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience, and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
