Distribution Clerk

The Distribution Clerk is responsible for researching devices that come in without packaging, scanning empty boxes and updating the empty box report, filing claims with logistic carriers, and providing support and cover for the Trade Compliance Auditor. The Distribution Supervisor can assign other tasks on an as-needed basis.

This an onsite role at the La Vergne, Tennessee facility Monday - Friday 7am:3:30pm

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Systematically research devices delivered without packaging by ensuring they reach the correct program to tie them to a trade-in
  • Scan all empty boxes that arrive and update the empty box report with your daily data    
  • File claims with carriers as needed
  • Answer any questions from the carriers or internal personnel pertaining to any claims.
  • Main contact for anyone needing more information to resolve a claim or issues.
  • Support or cover the Trade Compliance Auditor with any tasks that are needed, for example, but not limited to customer-routed emails
  • Help with the Scan Tunnel/Manuel Scanning or the Box Cutter as needed
  • Any additional responsibilities assigned by the Distribution Supervisor

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Extremely Detail Orientated.
  • Basis Knowledge of Logistics
  • Team Player
  • Ability to keep up in a fast-moving environment
  • Good Multi-Tasker
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to communicate information effectively and appropriately to internal and external personnel

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • 1 plus years of Logistics Experience
  • Inventory Management Software Knowledge
  • Customer Service skills
  • Knowledge of how to file a claim with logistic carriers

Pay Range

$15.50 - $24.03

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience, and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
