For the Global Technology Strategy and Architecture team, this position provides leadership as a change agent to enable the business strategy with new and enhanced capabilities. They will define and drive toward a future state that increases portfolio agility while avoiding and mitigating risk. They establish relationships with key partners and leadership based on personal integrity and trustworthiness. Focus areas will include cloud, enterprise integration, API management, application rationalization and a common application architecture.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Roadmaps: strategic planning to accelerate progress toward target state
- Opportunity definitions: signature-ready recommendations to bridge from strategy to execution
- Technology standards: enable optimal technology add, remove and reuse decisions
- Innovation: documenting the relevant top emerging trends and technologies with their associated impacts and recommendations; managing idea pipeline
- Governance: guiding principles, reviewing and aligning
- Stakeholder engagement: build/maintain relationships, advising, consulting, staying connected/aware
- Recommending high-level solutions in response to business imperatives
- Development and implementation of enterprise architecture practice improvements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 years of experience in a technology role
Environment/Physical Demands :
10-15% Travel
Other Requirements
- Experience with and understanding of the deliverables and value proposition of Enterprise Architecture
- Strong understanding of corporate strategy (and how technology supports and enables)
- Deep understanding of technology trends and a broad knowledge of technology products and vendors
- Experience influencing significant, positive change
- Experience establishing long-term, collaborative relationships
- Experience developing cost benefit analysis around technology decisions
- Ability to organize and lead diverse groups toward common goals
- Enterprise-mindset: ability to identify opportunities that maximize benefit to the enterprise as a whole
- Systems and conceptual thinking: ability to capture the key elements of a system into a simple abstraction that empowers good decisions
- Critical and analytical thinking: ability to analyze multiple long and short-term competing factors to arrive at high-quality recommendations
- Communication: ability to effectively communicate (written, verbal, and presentation skills) to multiple levels within the business and technology organizations
- Intellectual curiosity: ability to learn quickly and with enthusiasm
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
- Prior experience as an Enterprise Architect or Solution Architect
- Multiple years of strategic planning experience
- Strong vendor management, portfolio management, project management and enterprise change management skills
- Exposure to multiple technology environments within large, diversified companies
- Experience defining and executing application rationalization, enterprise integration, API management and cloud strategies
