What's the role about?
The Field Sales Business Development Manager is a pivotal role that will continue to drive the growth of Assurant’s distribution and sale of Refurbished Mobile Devices. Key to the role is the proactive identification of new sales opportunities, leveraging Trade shows and Exhibitions to enhance Assurant’s brand, and networking with existing and potential Resellers & Partners to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Conduct regular visits to Partners and Resellers, and assess needs, address concerns, monitor channel and competitor activity, and provide ongoing support
- Develop and adhere to a strategic visitation plan that prioritises engagement with key Partners and Resellers
- Execute comprehensive sales and customer service strategies that service Regional and Interstate customers effectively
- Identify and Onboard potential new Partners and Resellers within assigned territories to expand Assurant’s reach in the refurbished devices market
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements as necessary to secure profitable deals, balanced with delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and in line with Assurant’s value proposition
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitor product lines, pricing strategies, and distribution methods, leveraging this intelligence to inform Assurant’s market positioning and strategy development
Does this sound like you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field OR Minimum three years experience in a similar Business Development, Field Sales, Relationship Management, or similar position
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales and growth targets, ideally in a Technology or Telecommunications space
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Driven and self-motivated, results and action oriented
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, prioritisation and management of work tasks
- Experienced user of CRM systems, Microsoft Office including strong Excel skills for data analysis
- Financial and commercial literacy to manage budgets, analyse deal profitability, and provide insights that support action related to sales performance
