We are looking for a HR Graduate to join our global People Organisation team. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition manager, you will support the People Organisation team to enhance the employee experience and better attract, develop and engage the diverse talent that will enable Assurant to be successful. You will be responsible for recruitment, employment law compliance, HR support and project work. 

You will also be responsible for;

  • Contributing to the talent acquisition and onboarding strategy.
  • Developing and providing support on policies and procedure, maintaining employee records and paperwork.
  • Ensuring the business maintains up to date knowledge of the relevant employment laws, compliance and regulations
  • Supporting the People Organisation team on a wide variety of people related projects including support for engagement activities
  • Providing accurate and timely management information, ensuring compliance with company processes, data protection requirements and best practice regarding maintenance of HR systems and records.

You will have the following skills;

  • HRM qualified at degree level, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of key HR concepts, terminology, systems, standards and practices.
  • An understanding of employment law.
  • Knowledge or experience of different HR areas, including recruitment and selection, organisational structure, employee compensation and benefits, employee and labour relations, training and development, reporting and data analytics.
  • Experience of using HR systems
