Legal Analyst

This job is responsible for providing legal support to commercial and staff business lines in contractual negotiations with Clients, suppliers, vendors, launching of new products, drafting of terms and conditions of extended warranty and insurance products, negotiations of agreements, management of corporate legal work, such as; corporate legal books, shareholders and board meeting, powers of attorney, legal and regulatory advisory, etc.

Responsibilities:
⦁            Provide legal support to all business lines, primarily in the drafting of Agreements, suppliers, vendors, etc. (30%)

⦁            Legal support with respect to the launching of new products, including the review and approval of marketing materials, terms and conditions, etc. (20%)

⦁            Management and record of corporate legal documents, such as legal books, board and shareholders meetings, powers of attorney, etc. (20%) 

⦁            Responsible to create and maintain an updated legal inventory of all contracts executed by different legal entities. (15%)

⦁            Support in administrative matters, such as payment to external law firms with the support of finance department. (15%)

Basic Qualifications:
⦁            Law degree 

⦁            1-3 years overall professional experience

⦁            3 years of experience in corporate legal matters

⦁            3 years or more overall professional experience in regulatory matters.

⦁            3 years of experience in insurance legal matters.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

⦁            Knowledge of MS Office Applications (Excel / PowerPoint / Word / Outlook / SharePoint).

⦁            English Advanced: Strong written and reading skills in English, and able to communicate orally if necessary.

⦁            A high degree of motivation and a self-starting attitude with a desire to thrive on new challenges and to take on additional responsibilities

⦁            Ability to work with a limited level of supervision in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, and challenging work environment

⦁            Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to fully communicate in Spanish and English (preferably)

⦁            Strong organizational, influence and negotiation skills
