Manufacturing Slotting Analyst

The slotting analyst role is responsible for the strategic organization, layout configuration & tagging, data modeling, and placement of devices to discrete logical locations within the DCC, principally in the forward fulfillment and bulk storage work zones in support of DDCC clients. The slotting analyst will gather data from many sources, understand which items are high velocity and quickly prioritize their placement, and search for patterns or trends that others may not see. Then use the information and trends to create strategies for the clients. As strategies are implemented, the analysts will study the effects of the strategies and determine how they can be improved or modified. The slotting analyst is expected to deliver measurable results for optimizing labor efficiency, consistent achievement of fill rates (SLA), reduction in client back orders, inventory & picking accuracy, and enhancing worker productivity and safety. The slotting analyst is also the catalyst for productivity attainment in the picking, replenishment, and put-away functional pathway flows, and makes efficient use of assigned DDCC warehouse space.
