This job is responsible for providing recruitment and generalist HR support to the GCC in India, partnering with matrix HR teams as appropriate. As the GCC is expected to grow with a volume of at least around 150-200 hires/year in the next 2 years, the role is a critical one to establish the talent acquisition practices / team for the GCC.

·       Working with the hiring managers across Assurant who are looking at the India GCC as an option and managing the relationship with them

·       Act as a partner with APAC HR Leader to help hiring managers understand the Indian Market, local practices etc

·       Talent sourcing, recruitment, selection and orientation of new hires, following regional practices and local needs

·       Managing the supervising the relationship with all Talent Acquisition vendors.

·       Working with sourcing team on negotiating vendor agreements

·       Working with the Talent Acquisition CoE to ensure consistency of recruitment practices and processes

·       Managing the relationship with the RPO vendor for India GCC

·       Implementing TA best practices across the GCCs in India and Argentina as well as other countries in APAC

·       Provide generalist HR support to the GCC leaders and staff which incudes:

§  Performance management, providing orientation at managerial, teams and individual level

§  Succession planning/talent reviews; integrate results into development plans by working with management and staff to strengthen our leadership pipeline.

§  Create close working relationship with internal partners to provide proactive support including diagnosing organization and staff issues and making recommendations to improve/enhance organizational effectiveness

§  Act as internal coach to executives to support their development with clear understanding of organizational issues; act as internal consultant.

§  Recognition programs strategy, communication and improvements as per local needs

§  Employee engagement survey administration, communication and support for action planning

§  Implementation of learning solutions, following regional strategy and local business/talent needs

§  Execution and improvements of communication actions, following regional and local agendas

§  Support for all local employee events

§  Elaboration of HR reports as needed
