Salesforce Developer

Assurant is looking for a Salesforce developer to join our team and help us create innovative solutions for our clients. The selected applicant will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying custom applications and integrations within the Salesforce platform. You will also collaborate with other developers, product owner, and business users to understand the requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.       

This position will be in Remote at our India location.  

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Develop custom applications and integrations using Apex, Process Builder,
  • Flow, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Email-to-Case, Reporting and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Experience in creating Custom forms on for Web-to-Case.
  • Experience working in Service, Sales and Marketing Cloud.
  • Support Salesforce Security Administration
  • Design and implement data models, workflows, triggers, and processes to meet business needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce functionality and performance.
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, and quality assurance to ensure best practices and standards are followed.
  • Document and maintain technical specifications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end users and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Scrum team and knowledgeable in scrum ceremonies.

What are the requirements needed for this position? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Salesforce developer.
  • Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SQL, and other web technologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP integration, and web services.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, security, and governor limits.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or higher is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of agile principles, practices, and methodology. Previous experience working in an Agile environment.

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience, and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
