This role will be responsible for the planning, development, execution, analysis, and reporting of aftermarket campaigns to stimulate revenue and profit growth for the Company and its clients. It will have a direct and immediate impact on both top line revenue as well as longer term cost avoidance related to marketing cost while collaborating with Marketing and IT to execute on new and existing digital strategy. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works with, owns effectively communicating with, and owns implementing cross-functionally effective marketing offers with supporting areas/vendors (marketing database, lettershops, Operations, email providers, digital providers, creative providers, pricing analyst, legal, modeler, OB provider, etc.).
  • Works specifically with the Strategic Client Partner to collaborate and identify opportunities for Client programs’ growth.
  • Works with the Strategic Client Partner and Client Implementations Manager to understand Client data feeds and is solely responsible for monitoring and analyzing Client’s data for marketing potential and for monitoring incoming volume trends. 
  • Understands kickouts by Client for legitimacy, makes appropriate recommendations and executes strategies to improve campaign volumes.
  • Develops campaign plans, creative strategies and creative materials, expected campaign performance goals, and works with needed areas to develop a comprehensive marketing approach for the business that can be cascaded to the Strategic Client Partner for Clients’ or internal team’s education and approval (creative design, email design, website design, and marketing strategy).
  • Monitoring, tracking, and socializing digital performance (website through google analytics, email with dashboard utilization) trends/active tests and production while addressing opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Assists with ownership the email templates in the email tool ensuring they are desktop/mobile optimized and make it to the inbox
  • Assists with ownership designing email creative or building the email in desktop/mobile layouts for proper email execution
  • Owns all Creative Services requests, coordination with creative partners to design web and email creative packages.
  • Leads the effort to review marketing results at the campaign level with a focus on front-end and back-end performance.  Leverages marketing database to execute ad hoc queries and other data analyses across campaigns to assist in evaluating effectiveness of various marketing campaigns and their strategies.  Identifies trends/patterns, facilitates and or conducts root cause analysis of campaign performance/product offering and identifies opportunities for improved marketing results.
  • Demonstrates a consistent focus on execution excellence.  Works with others to ensure that marketing procedures are followed. Ensures the timely and relevant sharing of information with other areas.
  • Identifies areas of growth through marketing efficiency by driving insights and actionable test plans from missed opportunities or systemic gaps, provide high-level estimates to size potential impacts and make appropriate recommendations that will deliver incremental growth to existing clients or new campaigns.
  • Works collaboratively with the Strategic Client Partner and internal/external data modeling providers and analysts to review and understand modeling results and methodologies, and impacts to campaign strategy.
  • Monitors subsequent effort reporting and owns identifying variances by Client in subsequent effort kickouts and correlates root cause, if gaps are systemic.  Owns any recaps for found gaps that are corrected.
  • Works with Database and analytics provider as needed to design and validate accuracy of reporting in order to benchmark effectively and coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify any gaps or supplemental reporting needs.
  • Leads marketing best practices through a consistent focus on executional excellence.
  • Owns successful execution of campaigns, covering execution with database, lettershop (includes inventory and sample approvals), website and email providers.
  • Manages the analysis and distribution of reports to assess, monitor and track campaign performance at various levels and within specific timeframe windows.
  • Oversees and implements all marketing test plans by Client – recommends test design, works with database and modeling providers to structure testing, monitors results to provide back findings to the Strategic Client contact for Client or internal review.
  • Solely communicates any campaign changes to lettershop, modeler, call center management, and the Strategic Client Contact.
  • Proactively engages associates in other support areas to identify and explore opportunities for increased effectiveness.
  • Prepares and presents program’s performance to our internal business units.
  • Responsible for the delivery of a financial plan.

Required skills/experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing / Business, with leading complex organizational projects.
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct response marketing experience in a DM agency or corporate marketing environment. 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing projects.
  • Minimum of 3 years direct Client interaction.
  • Demonstrated competency in direct marketing, acquisition and retention strategies and an understanding of direct marketing economics. 
  • Understanding of statistical analysis, and ability to perform marketing analysis is required.
  • Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and consistently meet internal and client needs on a timely basis.
  • Attention to detail and strong follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously with frequent interruptions, working under deadlines, making decisions based on incomplete information, handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to understand how other internal areas impact and support the Client’s business, and to work with them on resolutions / improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and possibly external clients to obtain and share information and effectively manage productive campaigns.
  • Experience in completing action plans and projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in extended service contracts, and/or the service industry.
  • Strong communication skills and be comfortable presenting project goals and status both internally and externally.
  • Works effectively under general supervision and has appreciable latitude for un-reviewed action or decision.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
  • Experience with financial or insurance services is a plus. Exposure to budgets, expense control reports or financial statements preferred.
  • Digital creative design, email execution and operations experience preferred.
  • Google Analytics knowledge a plus.
