The Senior Sales Analytics Manager will be responsible for all aspects of selling product on the Assurant Sales Platforms.  They will set pricing, manage order clearing, and analytics to help leadership understand asset value recovery business.  Will collaborate closely with the Manager of Sales Support to assure a smooth customer experience as well as the Account Executives and device operations.  This person will be involved with negotiations with buyers of Assurant inventory. This individual will supervise a team of analysts focused on pricing, analytics, and order clearing.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Manage all aspects of pricing on Advanced Sales Platform (ASP) for all domestic sales operations including inventory for Lavergne, York, and Lewisville.
  • Manage analytics to measure sales performance and provide pricing trend reporting to Senior Management.
  • Manage offer clearing strategy to attain the highest possible prices while meeting desired inventory sell-through velocities and effectively clearing all buyer offers daily.
  • Work closely with the AVR Account Executives and key buyers to negotiate sales.
  • Coordinate with all Domestic Operations on inventory issues and ensure all items are selling through in desired timeline.
  • Support the Director of Commercial Operations and the broader Device Operations team.
  • Support key Assurant trade-in and upgrades accounts directly and indirectly through Account teams with program-specific price requests and approvals.
  • Support the Account teams with program-specific ad-hoc and regularly scheduled sales order.
  • Support the continued improvement of ASP and future sales platforms through collaboration with internal and external IT development partners.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, math, or a related field.  MBA in Finance or Data Analytics a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience required in a data analytics, pricing, or finance.
  • Strong MS Office skills with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Experience working with large data sets in Excel or other analytics tools.
  • Effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a problem-solving environment.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative and acts independently to resolve issues as appropriate.
  • Resilient with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience in the secondary use electronics market preferred.
  • QlikSense, Tableau, or PowerBI experience, in addition to Oracle or other ERP exp a plus.
