The Senior SharePoint Document Control Specialist is responsible for working across the business developing systems and policies for controlling and maintaining critical company documentation globally. This role will support the SharePoint site by building sites and managing views/ webparts. Power Automate experience would be a huge plus in this role.

These core systems help the business adhere to record retention policies, safeguard information, and allow for effective record retrieval. With an emphasis on supporting effective versioning and

change control, thereby ensuring the integrity of company documents and policies.  The position will work directly with auditors to demonstrate our regulatory and legal compliance.


What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Creates internal and customer facing portals or sites to facilitate projects and business development across various levels of the business. 
  • Leads business stakeholders and IT teams in developing systems to effectively store, manage, and track company documentation within the global supply chain.  Including, but not limited to work instructions, Engineering Change Requests (ECR’s), Process Deviations, approval records, and other customer documents.
  • Uses independent judgement to help drive automation and improvement of existing processes.
  • Performs file maintenance of Departmental portals, work instructions, ECR’s, Process Deviations, approval records, and other customer documents.
  • Coordinates ECR status with customers providing reporting as needed.
  • Supervises shop-floor logical access, ensuring valid approvals and effective communication.  Maintain records and work with compliance and auditors as needed to demonstrate compliance.
  • Adheres to document lifecycle procedures, archives inactive records in accordance with the records retention policy.
  • Supervises timely approval and distribution of documents for execution of procedures.
  • Partners with the Compliance Team to provide ad-hoc reporting and examples to demonstrate regulatory compliance for internal and third-party audits.
  • Manages a key Connected Living Control: Periodic Access Reviews (PARs) for operational logical access maintained within the depots across multiple applications, including but not limited to: Oracle and iAccess.  Including reporting, automating the request to managers and supervisors, automating the consumption of the responses, gap analysis for the final changes, and approving and attesting to the control.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • We are looking for a tech savvy SharePoint user to join our team to help serve our clients and customers with passion and purpose.
  • 3+ years experienced with SharePoint, Power Automate, Visio, and Adobe Pro.
  • 3+ years of experience in Document/Engineering Change Request/Configuration Control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Team player ready to multitask and contribute to a high performing team.


Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

  • Knowledge and experience in process engineering, production environment, and document changes.

Pay Range

$52,500.00 - $87,900.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience, and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
