The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager within the European Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for all stock management across Europe. To facilitate transactional optimization of stock between regions and Assurant entities. To ensure products are in the right place, at the right time, driving commercial enhancements

You Will:

  • Manage stock through various European networks to guide commercial and operational optimization
  • Independent working and decision making
  • Administer transfer of stock through Northern Ireland into the UK, compiling support documentation to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Manage stock position across all channels, identifying under/over-stocks and taking appropriate actions to limit exposure
  • Supplier performance maintenance. Planning schedules and tracking ongoing Goals to ensure stock holding is optimized
  • Analyze Supply Chain reporting
  • Purchase order creation
  • Customer Satisfaction – ensuring all LT claims are settled within agreed Goals
  • Supply Chain administration – first line of contact to resolve operational and financial queries
  • Good attention to detail is important in the role

You Have:

  • Basic level of education with good grades in GCSE's and A-Levels or equivalent.
  • Experience with managing internal & external stakeholders and negotiating with external third-parties
  • Experience in a forecasting and/or purchasing environment
  • Experience working remotely in a team environment
  • Good relationship management and mediation skills will be important for managing internal and external relationships.
  • Competent with Microsoft excel (maintaining spreadsheets) will be crucial to the role with main deliverables being reliant on manipulation of multiple types of data.
