The Vendor Risk Analyst is responsible for analyzing and managing risks associated with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves collaborating with various risk departments and supporting the implementation of tools to track risk compliance.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Risk Requirement Compliance (30%):
- Document risk requirements and develop a method for tracking compliance.
- Develop risk ranking/scoring methodology.
- Report exceptions to senior leadership.
Vendor Due Diligence (30%):
- Conduct pre-contract and post-contract vendor due diligence processes.
- Manage due diligence services such as financial health checks, credit checks, and OFAC checks.
Tool Development and Management Reporting (20%):
- Support the selection and implementation of a vendor risk tool.
- Incorporate data from risk departments into the central tool.
- Design risk scoring methodology and create management reporting capabilities.
Monitoring and Reporting (20%):
- Continuously monitor vendor performance and report on risk metrics.
- Develop and maintain vendor risk management policies and procedures.
- Handle vendor-related incidents and remediation plans.
Required Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- 3 years of experience in risk analysis, audit, risk management, financial analysis, data mining, database management, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience with programs and databases such as BI Reporting, ServiceNow, Monday.com
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks is beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
