Asset Recovery Pricing Analyst

The Asset Recovery Pricing Analyst is primarily responsible for program performance analysis and pricing activities within the Asset Recovery Program. The Pricing Analyst will have the opportunity to 1) gather, organize and analyze business data; 2) make significant contributions in assuring deliverables meet plan and; 3) actively participate in the pricing process for asset recovery and disposition.
This position will be focused on working with large and complex datasets in a SQL environment while translating business questions into data driven insights. Tableau will be used as a data visualization tool to create executive dashboards to track program performance. Curiosity and creativity are key to developing new solutions to tough business questions asked of this role and team.
The analyst utilizes formal training and/or a high level of first-hand experience to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed procedures, revise or develop process controls, systems and related procedures to process and analyze data. The analyst will be focused on pricing related activities to provide efficient solutions to drive data driven decisions across the broader team.
Primary Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities
  • Concurrently handle multiple tasks and minimum scope projects
  • Develop solutions and recommendations for improving pricing decisions through applying in-depth business understanding
  • Responsible for querying large data sets and transforming data into digestible intelligence for diverse audiences
  • Assist in early stages of requirements analysis and development activities
  • Participate in the development of reporting solutions according to business and technical requirements
  • Apply market understanding and data to improve information and models used to drive pricing decision processes
  • Document existing and new business workflows with applicable metrics and measures
  • Identify defective or ineffective work processes/flows within related work areas and make appropriate recommendations for improvement, efficiency gains, or optimization
  • Perform analysis on impact of new launches against existing devices on the collection plan
  • Closely coordinate activities with internal cross functional team in order to optimize asset value management process and asset recovery programs
  • Analyze factors in the marketplace and that impacting the program to formulate forecasts, estimates and projections that impact selling initiatives
  • Perform other related tasks or duties as required or assigned
Required skills/experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a related field.
  • Must have knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, Tableau OR SQL for writing queries for extracting information out of databases.
  • Skills, interest, and curiosity to derive insight from large amounts of data from diverse sources

  • Ability to quickly learn new applications and equipment.
  • Ability to process time sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions and communicate actions.
