Purpose
Lead pricing, registration (CNSF), underwriting governance, reinsurance, and portfolio management to ensure profitability, regulatory compliance, and strong financial performance of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Pricing: Lead development and validation of pricing models; ensure adequacy, profitability, and compliance with regulations and corporate standards.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee new and in-force portfolio performance, identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Reinsurance: Define strategy, manage treaties, and ensure governance, adequacy, and documentation of reinsurance programs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to CNSF, Solvency II, and US GAAP requirements,
- Financial Planning: Support Business Plan and forecasts (premium & loss projections); analyze deviations and loss trends.
- Governance & Audit: Maintain underwriting and reinsurance controls; lead interactions with auditors and regulators.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Risk, Underwriting, Claims, and IT to ensure alignment across pricing, reserving, and business strategy.
Experience & Qualifications
- Actuarial degree
- 8+ years of experience in insurance/reinsurance.
- Strong background in pricing, portfolio analytics, and reinsurance .
- Solid knowledge of CNSF regulation , plus exposure to Solvency II / US GAAP.
- Proven experience leading teams and interacting with senior stakeholders.

- Strong communication skills (technical & executive level).
- Ability to drive process improvements and change.
