Purpose
Responsible for the coordination and monitoring of the operation of automobile claims. Generate indicators of quality and staff productivity. Periodically present the monthly reports that are requested. Anticipate potential problems to propose improvements in processes and technological tools.
Responsibilities
- Implement the strategy to reach consistently the department's performance indexes: approval time, average repair cost, etc. –> (20%)
- Direct the team's activities to achieve the goals, perform as a coach for the team development, contribute to the development of team performance through continuous follow-up and individual feedback based on performance indicators, participate in monthly meetings of the operations team considering goals achieved, goals to be achieved and possible improvements. –> (50%)
- Provide technical support to the New Products / Commercial area / Implementation area in the development of new products. –> (10%)
- Perform daily approvals of vehicle’s repairs according to their level of authorization. –> (5%)
- Negotiate, lower rates of product repairs. –> (10%)
- To remain technically and administratively up to date with aspects involving the regulation of claims. - > (5%)
Requirements:
- University graduate Mechanical or Industrial Engineer, Administration.
- Indispensable: Knowledge on auto claims insurance appraisal or extended warranty for cars.
- Desirable: Knowledge of continuous improvement processes and root cause analysis for problem solving.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in positions such as: Auto Claims Supervisor, Auto Claims Appraisal Supervisor, OEM Extended Warranty Coordinator.
- People Management.
- Advanced negotiation skill.
- Resilient.
- Fluent in English
