Our Global Specialty Property business is seeking a Property & Casualty (P&C) Product Manager to support our innovative Manufactured Housing product line.

In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities by developing a deep understanding of the industries and markets where our products are distributed. You’ll bring strategic insight and analytical rigor to help shape product direction and drive growth within a specialized and evolving segment.

You will also collaborate closely with our Reinsurance and Risk Management teams to lead initiatives that strengthen our risk profile, enhance underwriting performance, and support sustainable profitability.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Translates business ideas and market opportunities or trends into new product ideas.  Leads the efforts to analyze the financial potential of new product ideas, along with developing and presenting the corresponding business plans and justification for new business opportunities.

  • Ensures integrity of existing products by servicing as lead/team members on channel-driven product enhancement projects.

  • Uses a solid understanding of risk management measures, trends, risk reduction tools, and applications to monitor portfolio exposure.

  • Utilizes knowledge of pricing, processes, insurance products, and the industry to analyze products, ensure that market position is maintained and that the products are profitable, and make recommendations for product/procedural changes as needed.

  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to improve product retention.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience in product management, business analyst function, or similar role leveraging analytical skills.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry with a focus on Homeowners insurance.

  • Extensive knowledge of insurance coverages, pricing options, the impact of regulations, and the importance of compliance.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AI, with strong SQL expertise for data querying and analysis.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? 

  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of business (underwriting, regulatory/legal, marketing, finance/pricing, operations, technology, etc.).

  • Experience with leveraging Insurance Credit Score with risk segmentation

  • Leveraging Copilot Premiere to enhance analysis

  • Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation.

How much should I expect to travel? 

  • Up to 10% annual travel.

Pay Range

$88,000.00 - $147,000.00
