Job Purpose
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst is a GCC‑based role responsible for end‑to‑end strategic sourcing activities, operating at a level equivalent to a Sourcing Manager. The role supports global spend categories and cross‑regional stakeholders, and plays a critical role in driving value creation, governance, and consistency across the sourcing lifecycle.
Assurant manages approximately USD 2B in annual third‑party spend across suppliers and service providers. In this context, the Senior Sourcing Analyst acts as a key enabler of the company’s sourcing strategy, leading complex RFPs, conducting commercial negotiations, and developing supplier strategies that deliver measurable cost savings and sustainable long‑term value.
This position is expected to make a material contribution to Assurant’s financial objectives, with an annual targeted cost‑savings impact of USD 35M, while ensuring full alignment with procurement policies, risk management standards, and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end strategic sourcing initiatives across assigned categories, from intake through award and contract execution.
- Develop and execute category‑level sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and financial targets.
- Lead supplier negotiations, driving optimal commercial, contractual, and risk outcomes.
- Partner closely with cross‑functional and regional stakeholders to align sourcing decisions with business needs.
- Support category planning, savings realization tracking, and performance reporting.
- Mentor and coach junior sourcing and tactical analysts within the GCC, supporting capability development.
- Act as an escalation point for complex or high‑impact sourcing initiatives
Required Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi‑stakeholder sourcing projects.
- Strong negotiation, commercial, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience operating in global, matrixed organizations.
- Experience in Procurement Systems (Oracle desirable)
- Insurance and/or financial services experience (desirable).
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting regional or global sourcing organizations.
- Familiarity with procurement KPIs, spend cubes, supplier risk indicators, or savings tracking.
- Exposure to BI or visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
