Compensation Analyst

Overview of Position

The Compensation Analyst will support Assurant’s Global Compensation team by providing data analysis and operational support for compensation programs and initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with Compensation, Human Resources, and business stakeholders to help maintain competitive, equitable, and consistent pay practices across the organization.

This position offers an opportunity to build expertise in compensation analysis, job evaluation, market benchmarking, and annual compensation processes while gaining exposure to regional and global Total Rewards programs. You will join a highly collaborative team, work alongside experienced compensation professionals, and contribute to process improvement, pay equity, pay transparency, and technology-enabled initiatives.

What will be my responsibilities in this job?

  • Conduct compensation analyses and prepare data-driven insights to support talent and business decisions.
  • Assist with job evaluations, market pricing, benchmarking, and salary structure reviews.
  • Support annual compensation programs, including salary planning, data validation, process coordination, and reporting.
  • Participate in pay equity, pay transparency, compensation transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with compensation data, market benchmarking, job evaluation, salary analysis, or compensation surveys.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience organizing, validating, analyzing, and presenting data.
  • Advanced written and verbal English communication skills.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Experience supporting compensation programs in a regional, multinational, consulting, shared services, insurance, financial services, or technology environment.
  • Familiarity with salary structures, incentive programs, pay equity, or pay transparency practices.
  • Experience collaborating with Human Resources Business Partners or business stakeholders.
  • Interest in artificial intelligence-enabled tools and technology-driven ways of working.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, organization, and proactive problem-solving skills.

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

This position is based in Argentina, following hybrid working model.
