Senior Compensation Analyst | Assurant-GCC

Position Summary

The Senior Compensation Analyst is a key player in the analysis and implementation of compensation philosophy, programs, policies, and structures for the organization. You will partner with People Business Partners, business leaders, and HR stakeholders to design, administer, and enhance compensation programs that support the company's talent strategy and pay philosophy.

This role provides consultative support on compensation-related matters including market benchmarking, job evaluation, annual compensation planning, organizational changes, M&A activities, reporting, compensation governance, and global compensation initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working in ambiguity while supporting ongoing compensation transformation efforts across a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support analysis of the company's global compensation philosophy, programs, and practices and promote understanding through clear communications and stakeholder education.
  • Maintain and enhance compensation processes, reporting, dashboards, documentation, employee chat tools (ERIN), and procedures to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Conduct market benchmarking, job evaluation, and job pricing activities to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
  • Support global business compensation needs associated with organizational design changes, restructurings, reorganizations, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Participate in mergers and acquisitions activities, including compensation due diligence, integration planning, harmonization efforts, and ongoing support for acquired businesses.
  • Lead and support annual compensation review programs, including project planning, accruals, process design, communications, manager guidance, training materials, reporting, and execution.
  • Participate in compensation surveys and leverage market data to support pay decisions and compensation program design.
  • Support pay equity analysis, compensation governance activities, and compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Develop executive-ready analyses, reports, presentations, and recommendations that support compensation-related decision-making.
  • Support global compensation transformation initiatives focused on process standardization, technology enablement, and scalable compensation practices.
  • Partner with stakeholders across multiple regions, including Asia Pacific (APAC), to support compensation projects and business priorities.
  • Research market trends, compensation regulations, and emerging practices to provide informed recommendations and insights.
  • Contribute to special projects, vendor reviews, and strategic compensation initiatives as business needs evolve.

Location & Work Arrangement

This position is based in Argentina and follows a hybrid work model .

  • Expected to attend the office one day per week .
  • Primary schedule aligned with Argentina business hours.
  • Occasional flexibility may be required to support Asia Pacific stakeholders across different time zones.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of Global Compensation experience in a public company environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Experience conducting compensation analyses, market pricing, and job evaluations.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to drive results independently.
  • Strong stakeholder management and partnership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of compensation, total rewards, or related analytical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, market pricing, salary structures, and incentive programs.
  • Experience supporting annual compensation planning processes.
  • Advanced reporting, data analysis, and data visualization capabilities.
  • Experience working with compensation surveys, HR systems, and large datasets.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-country compensation programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in changing, fast-paced, and evolving environments.
  • Ability to make recommendations, influence decisions, and communicate compensation insights to diverse audiences.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools, automation initiatives, or technology-driven process improvements.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a genuine desire to learn, challenge the status quo, and continuously improve processes.
