Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Netherlands)
Location: Amsterdam | Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home)
The opportunity
Reporting to the TA Lead (Europe), you will partner with hiring managers to understand current and future talent needs and deliver inclusive hiring outcomes across the Netherlands. You will design and run sourcing strategies, build diverse pipelines for high‑volume and time‑sensitive roles, and use your knowledge of the business and labour market to support great hiring decisions for both candidates and the organisation. You’ll also recruit for teams that work across a multilingual environment (23 languages) and bring cultural awareness to how you attract, assess, and engage talent.
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring strong end‑to‑end recruitment expertise (attraction and sourcing through to offer and onboarding), a structured approach to data and reporting, and the ability to build trust with stakeholders. You’ll be confident collaborating across teams, using insight to influence decisions, and bringing the candidate voice into the process.
What you’ll do
- Partner with hiring managers to plan and prioritise vacancies, clarify role requirements, and define what “good” looks like for success.
- Source and engage candidates through a range of channels (e.g., social media, networking, referrals, career events, community partners), building inclusive talent pipelines for current and future needs.
- Provide a great candidate experience by communicating clearly, setting expectations on next steps, and keeping the process moving.
- Track progress and share regular updates on vacancies, pipeline health, sourcing activity, and applicant flow.
- Contribute to recruiting projects and continuous improvement such as enhancing interview practices and making best use of internal and external talent sources.
- Create structured hiring plans with deliverables, timelines, and a clear tracking approach.
- Build strong relationships with Assurant leaders, vendors, and community partners to deliver predictable results and trusted advice.
What you’ll bring
Experience and skills
- Professional working proficiency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
- End-to-end recruitment expertise in high-volume operational roles (sourcing to offer) with strong stakeholder partnering.
- Experience building inclusive pipelines using a range of sourcing approaches and channels.
- Comfortable using an ATS and recruitment data to track progress and improve how we hire (Workday preferred).
- Experience supporting structured, fair assessment and competency-based interviewing.
- Experience recruiting in multicultural and multilingual environments, communicating effectively across cultures.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver sourcing strategies in the Dutch job market
